Terms of Service

By using Wispr Tasks, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Wispr Tasks is made and run by Danilo Santiago Vanegas Saenz, an independent developer based in Colombia, working under the trade name Off The Shelf Studio. Off The Shelf Studio is a name, not a separate company — so the agreement here is with that individual. Wherever these Terms say "we", that is who it means.

Wispr Tasks is a voice-first task planner. You speak or type a task, and the app transcribes it, pulls out a useful date, time, and category, and places it in your day. A title alone is enough to save a task — everything else is optional.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you think someone else has access to your account.

Use Wispr Tasks for its intended purpose: planning your own tasks. Don't use it for anything unlawful, don't impersonate someone else, and don't try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Wispr Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID, on the monthly or yearly cycle you choose. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time from your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Prices and included features are shown before you buy; if we ever change what a plan includes, existing subscribers keep what they signed up for through the end of that billing period.

If your plan includes a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription automatically when the trial ends, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before that. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are Apple's to give: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, or through the refund link the app shows when iOS offers it. We can see whether your subscription is active; we can't issue, deny, or speed up an Apple refund.

Your tasks, notes, and voice recordings belong to you. We store them to make the app work — sync across devices, offline access, and voice transcription — as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

Wispr Tasks relies on a small number of providers to work: Groq for voice transcription and task parsing, RevenueCat and Apple for subscription handling, Sentry for crash reporting, and Google Places / OpenStreetMap for location lookup. Each operates under its own terms and only receives the data it needs to do its job.

Wispr Tasks is provided "as is." We work hard to keep transcription accurate and your plan reliable, but we can't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent allowed by law, Off The Shelf Studio isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a missed or mis-transcribed task.

We may update these Terms as the app changes. If a change is material, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Wispr Tasks after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, and disputes belong to the courts there. If you are a consumer, that does not strip you of the protections your own country's consumer law gives you: where that law lets you bring a claim at home, you still can.
